Web & GIS based RiverInfo system

ERN is developing a web & gis based RiverInfo system for 7 - 10 pilot riverbasins in Europe and other continents.

A test has been realized in 2006 for the Elbe River. In 2007/2008 a full version has been established by ERN for the Rhine Riverbasin (cofinanced by the EU Project RhineNet) and completed 2009 in cooperation with the International Commission for the Rhine Protection.

Timetable :

2008 : Rhine River basin (Phase 1) by ERN
2009 : Rhine River basin (Phase 2) by ERN in cooperation and for the Int. Commision for the Rhine River Protection
2010 : Loire River basin
2011 : more river basins
