Who finance Loire Nature?

Apart from European Union and French State contributions, financial support must be found by the NGOs in charge of operating the projects.
All projects put together, the Loire Nature program is financed by :
- - European Union : 50%
- - French State (Ministry of the Environment) : 25%
- - Regions : 8%
- - French Water Agency : 6%
- - ‘Départements’ : 4%
- - Others, self-financing : 7%
Financing is used for :
- - Land control (over approximately 3,000 hectares) : 48%
- - Project management : 20%
- - Works and biotopes’ management : 13%
- - Communication and reception of the public : 10%
- - Preliminary studies and scientific work : 9%
